December 2023 goals & November review

The final month of the year is upon us. The last few months have flown by and I’m not sure how we are at December already. While I will be making sure to enjoy the holidays, I am also ensuring that I have plenty of productive days during the month. Before we get to my December 2023 goals, let’s take a moment to look back at how I did with my November goals.

November review

I went easy with November’s goals, making only one.

December 2023 goals

With the holidays happening this month, I am not going to go too heavy on my goals. However, I do want to start working on a solid blog work schedule this month to continue into the new year, so that’s one of the big things I will be working on.

Life

  • Read at least 5 books. As always, I’m aiming to read at least 5 books this month.
  • Study Japanese. I’ve been learning Japanese off and on for a few years now. However, I haven’t done any studying this year. I’d like to do at least 30 minutes of studying each day to get back into it.

Blogging

  • Work out a blog work schedule. I want to set up a work schedule for the blog so I can be more efficient with getting things done going forward. December will be my test month to see when I work best and how many hours per day is ideal to get it all done.
  • Post regularly. I let this slide last month, but I want to post at least once a week this month.
  • Work on December and January’s posts. I don’t have too many posts planned for December, but I am hoping to get them done. I also want to work on some of January’s posts.
  • Reply to comments in a timely manner. The goal is to reply to them within 72 hours of receiving a comment.

Those are my December 2023 goals. What goals do you have for December?

Thank you. Finding the right balance is the way to do it and that’s why I alter my goals so much from month to month.

      1. There’s nothing wrong with that. Flexibility lessens the anxiety, and adjustments mean you’re learning more about yourself and your environment. It’s a journey, but worth it. As long as you know, you’re WHY (purpose) and why it matters.

  2. I’ve been curious about learning the Japanese language. I guess you should continue to do it. I got inspired to start mine too.

Thank you. A schedule makes all the difference. I tried winging it before and I hated it, so scheduling is the way to go.
