February 2014 Reading Wrap-up

With March here it’s time to take a moment and look back on all the reading I did in February. This month was pretty productive reading wise. I did encounter some road blocks along the way, the biggest one being the weeks of battery failure on my Kindle which interrupted me from reading many of the books I have originally planned on reading over the course of this month. On the plus side my Kindle has stopped acting up and is not functioning properly once again. In total I read thirteen books in February.

So what did I read in February?

  • Every Which Way But Dead by Kim Harrison
  • Jaws by Peter Benchley
  • Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor
  • Dhampir by Barb & J.C. Hendee
  • Predator by Patricia Cornwell
  • Half of A Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
  • Tagestraum by T.L. Bodine
  • Atonement by B.J. Daniels
  • Thief of Lives by Barb & J.C. Hendee
  • A Fistful of Charms by Kim Harrison
  • The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N.K. Jemisin
  • Roll of The Die by Sean Patrick Bridges
  • Honor Among Thieves by James S.A. Corey

Which was my favorite? Oh this is a tough one since I read a lot of great books this month, but I’m going to have to say Days of Blood & Starlight was my favorite. Anyone who has read and loved this book will know why it is my favorite for the month, it was just so bloody damned good! Which was my least favorite? Predator, hands down this was the worst book I read in February. It was so dull and had a very awkward writing style to it.
