It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It’s also a great chance to see what others are reading right now…who knows, you might discover that next “must-read” book! This week, in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #2, I’ll be going over what I recently read from my TBR and my reading plans for the week ahead.

What I read last week:
I finished Wrangled by B.J. Daniels. I really enjoyed this book, especially the mystery part of it. I’ll be posting a full review of this sometime next week, so keep your eye out for that.
On Saturday I picked up War Horse by Michael Morpurgo from the bookstore. I’ve been wanting to read this book for a while and finally found a copy of it. I’ve already watched the movie version when it came out a few months back and wanted to see how the book compared. Sunday I sat down to read it. I loved it, and while there were inevitable differences between the book and the movie, the story really did leave a good impression on me. I’m currently working on a full review of this book.
What I plan to read this week:
For this week’s reads I’m not sure what I’m in the mood for. So I have a few books selected and I’m hoping that one or all of them will tickle my fancy. First up is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. It’s been on my TBR list for a little while now and figured it was time to give it some attention. Hopefully, all the hype associated with this one is true, for I really don’t want another repeat of The Assassin’s Curse.
Should that book not appeal to me I’m also looking at Fable: Edge of The World by Christie Golden. I have yet to be disappointed by a book written by Christie Golden and I hope that remains true. I’ve played Fable in the past, namely when the first game was released on PC though I have not played any of the newer ones so I’m a bit rusty with the story but I think I will enjoy this book quite a bit.
That’s it for It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #2. What have you read lately?
