It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #3

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It’s also a great chance to see what others are reading right now…who knows, you might discover that next “must-read” book! This week, in It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #3, I’ll be going over what I recently read from my TBR and my reading plans for the week ahead.

What I read last week:

Unfortunately had little reading time this last week, what with prepping the house for winter and other various projects that needed to get done before the weather turned too cold to do so. Because of this I did not complete any books this last week but made some progress on a few of them.

What I plan to read this week:

I’ve made it about a quarter of the way through Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas and I have to say I’m not enjoying it but I’m hoping it gets better. Hopefully with all the household projects out of the way now I can devote solid reading time to this and other books.

I do have a couple of books lined up for afterward. The first one is Big Sky Mountain by Linda Leah Miller. I have been really enjoying western romance lately, so I’m making an effort to read more of them this month.

Next up, I hope to get to Colton: Rodeo Cowboy by C.J. Carmichael. This one sounds good and I can’t wait to get to it.

I am also working my way through Fable: Edge of The World by Christine Golden, however, I will likely only be reading it once I finish the above books. Don’t want too many books all fighting for attention at once so I need to pace myself if I am going to read all the books this month I plan to and possibly more.

That’s it for It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #3. What have you read lately?
