It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #66

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It’s also a great chance to see what others are reading right now…who knows, you might discover that next “must read” book!

What I Read Last Week:

First book I read last week was Predator. This was the book chosen for book club this month and I have to say I wasn’t very impressed with it. I found it very dull and the writing style was just horrible. I may post a review of this book in the future, though not sure if I will or when it will happen.

I have wanted to read Half of A Yellow Sun for a while now and finally got around to it. Though it took me a little bit to get into the story I quickly fell in love with it and while it took me several days to read through this I really enjoyed it. I will be posting a full review of this book sometime in March.

What I Plan To Read This Week:

This week I would like to read Thief of Lives. This is the second book in the Noble Dead series and since I recently reread the first book I want to continue on with the series and see just where things go once again. I’m sure I will enjoy this one because I remember liking it the first time I read it years ago.

Up next will likely be a Fistful of Charms. I’m really loving The Hollows series and since I am trying to finish a number of books series this year it makes sense to keep listening to this series. I cannot wait to see what happens next with all the characters and to see how certain events continue with this book.

Though my Kindle is still giving me major problems I am going to try to read Atonement this week as well. This is another series I am really enjoying and I am truly looking forward to seeing what will occur next in the small town of Beartooth.

What have you read recently? Were they as good as you had hoped or just alright? What books do you plan to read this week?
