It’s hard to believe that we are already in the third month of 2025. This is the time of year when life starts to get a bit busier and my goals are ramping up to keep up with everything that needs to get done. Before I get into my March 2025 Goals, I want to take a moment and go over how I did with February’s goals.
February Review
February went by in a flash and for the most part I was able to keep up with my goals.
Read at least 10 books
Yes. In fact, I read more than 10 books. Check out what I read in February.
Take an online course
Yes, I did manage to get one section of the course done.
Study Japanese
Not even close. The sad thing is, I somewhat forgot about this goal, despite it being written down. I did get around to this in the last few days of the month so it wasn’t a complete failure.
Watch at least 1 season of a show & 1 movie
Yes. I watched 1 season of Station Eleven and for the movie I watched Godzilla Minus One.
Post Twice a week on the blog
No. I started the month strong with this and then progressively got worse with each week.
Update at least 4 old posts
Not quite. I did get 2 old posts updated but didn’t find the time to do any beyond that.
March 2025 Goals
March is going to be a fairly busy month. The weather is changing and so some of my focus will be shifting to the garden and other outside jobs, however, most of my goals for the month relate to the blog.
Read at least 10 books
I am confident I can get through 10 books this month. I have quite a few listed on my March TBR and cannot wait to dive into them.
Take an online course
This is an ongoing goal as I work through a large online course. My goal is to get through at least one section of it during the month.
Study Japanese
Ideally, I want to put it at least 30 minutes every day. If I can do more than that, then that would be amazing.
Watch at least 1 season of a show & 1 movie
My to-watch list is large and I need to whittle it down. So, knocking out 1 movie and 1 season of a show per month should help.
Start the garden
This isn’t quite the full-blown garden, but mostly starting seeds that need to be planted ahead of time like tomatoes and peppers. I am a bit behind on this, so I need to make it a priority in the first bit of the month.
Post Twice a week on the blog
Two posts a week seems like a good amount and I am aiming to stick to that this month.
Work on new blog graphics
I’ve been working on this off and on since the beginning of the year, but I’d like to focus more on this during March to (hopefully) get them done so I can start using them on the blog.
Update at least 4 old posts
Another long-term goal as I continue to work on updating my older posts, fixing their SEO, adding new graphics, and editing the layout if needed.
Replay to comments within 72 hours
I have completely fallen off the wagon with this, so back onto the monthly goal list it goes. It would be preferable to reply to comments in the first 24 hours, but I like to have a bit of wiggle room in case I’m extra busy.
I hope you enjoyed my February 2025 goals. What goals have you set for the month?

I’ve learned to add it to my To-Do List and give it a try for just 5 minutes. Similar to my Spanish practice, I often end up doing more, but I don’t feel bad if I only manage those 5 minutes. Keep pushing yourself forward and keep up the great work!
Thank you. That’s a great way to approach it, doing just 5 minutes and then either continuing or stopping. Any progress is good progress.
Great list of goals! I appreciate seeing the normalcy of carrying over goals to the next month when they fall short or still need work. This is often me too. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you. I’m a firm believing it sharing that you don’t have to complete everything in one go and that you can keep going next month if needed, plus some goals will take more than a month to complete.
I love how you have all of your goals typed out! I feel like that helps to really solidify them. I should try to do this too😅
Thank you. Doing them this way has made a huge difference to me actually sticking with them. Definitely give it a try.
I see how you set your goals and I feel like “I should do this too” but who am I kidding 😄 I barely have time, but I love this for you, I hope you get to learn Japanese this month. Keep going!
Thank you. I would recommend setting just one goal for a month and build up from there, that way it won’t feel overwhelming and pretty much how I did it as well.
Congrats on reading 10 books last month! I’m always happy when I can get to that amount, too. I try to reply to comments as soon as I can, but sometimes there are just weeks where I need to be more leisurely…right now is kind of like that with all of the news cycle chaos and needing to take mental health breaks from the internet.
Thank you. I can totally understand that, you need to do what works for you and if it means getting to them later than that’s fine. Mental breaks are super important, especially lately.
I love setting goals and lists too. It’s the only way I can really complete tasks and it feels so good to be able to check of things on my lists.
Thank you. Yes, I totally am the same way, if I don’t jot it down to do it, it likely won’t get done.
I love how you organize your goals! I usually plan weekly, but I really want to start adopting your monthly approach—it feels more intentional and focused. I still plan to do weekly check-ins, though. Thanks so much for sharing your method!
Thank you. I find it’s the easiest way for me to keep track of everything. I did weekly planning for a long time but found monthly works best for me. Let me know how the monthly planning works out.
