May 2014 Reading Wrap-up

With June here it’s time to take a moment and look back on all the reading I did in May. I have been struggling a bit the last couple of months to keep up with my reading. At times I just don’t feel like reading and then there are other times when I just don’t have the time. Now that the weather has finally turned for the better and spring is here I find my reading time and motivation to be less because I get to cram all my outdoor activities into a very short amount of time (winter will be here again before I know it). So because of this reduced reading time I was only able to read four books in the month of May.

So what did I read in May?

  • Fighting For Infinity by Karen Amanda Hooper
  • My Pet Chicken Handbook by Lissa Luca & Traci Torres
  • The Godfather by Mario Puzo
  • Rescue At Cardwell Ranch by B.J. Daniels

So which was my favorite? Hands down Fighting For Infinity was my favorite. This book was amazing and such a great ending to The Kindrily trilogy. If you haven’t read any of the books in this trilogy then you should because they are all fantastic. As for which book was my least favorite. Well I hate to say it but The Godfather was my least favorite. It just wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.

Outside of reading I have been busy getting ready for the gardening season, especially in the last two weeks. I’ve also been spending just a lot of time in general outside because the weather is so nice now that after that long, cold and snowy winter it’s so great to be able to step outside for more than a couple of minutes. On top of this I have been continuing to watch Murder, She Wrote because I love this show and I am trying to make more of an effort to watch all the DVDs I have sitting around on my shelves that have yet to be watched.
