November 2017 Reading Wrap-Up

It’s almost the end of December, so this wrap-up is just a bit late. So let’s take a moment and look back on everything I did in November.

So what did I read in November?

  • Warcraft Legends Volume 3 by Various Authors
  • Warcraft Legends Volume 4 by Various Authors
  • Bonds of Brotherhood by Various Authors
  • Erased Volume 3 by Kei Sanbe
  • Dangerous Depths by Karen Amanda Hooper
  • Sacred Seas by Karen Amanda Hooper
  • Night of Cake & Puppets by Laini Taylor

In total, I read seven books in November. I really enjoyed all of them except Bonds of Brotherhood. Though I had hoped to read a few more books, I’m quite happy with the amount that I did get through.

On top of that, I participated in NaNoWriMo for the seventh year. Unfortunately, this year I just wasn’t able to complete the challenge. I did fairly decent in the beginning, hitting my word goal and often going over it in the first two weeks, but after that, I just couldn’t manage to get the words down. I tried, but no matter what, even switching what ideas I was working on, just didn’t help get the muse flowing. It also didn’t help that some shit went down in my life early on in November and that just killed my desire to write, and do a lot of things to be perfectly honest.

I spent a decent amount of time watching movies and television for a lot of the month as well, and then about mid-month, I also renewed my subscription to World of Warcraft. This was honestly a great idea, because I needed a distraction from life and Warcraft provided that.

All in all, November was an okay month. It wasn’t great, it wasn’t terrible, but I got through it and that’s all that matters.
