The theme of the November 2023 Bokksu is Cha Cha Tea Time. These snacks are a mix of tea-flavored foods along with snacks that pair well with tea. November 2023 Bokksu

Wasabi Flavored Pistachio Snacks

I’ve never had pistachios before, but anything wasabi-flavored is a win in my book. These were really good. I can’t say I tasted the pistachios, as the wasabi was quite strong. This is a snack I would absolutely eat again.

Kohakuka Uragoshi Kanten: Guava

Guava is another food I haven’t had before so I was excited to try these. I took the advice from the booklet and chilled these in the refrigerator first. Man were these good!

Jouisobe Eokoshi: Matcha

Matcha is a flavor that has slowly been growing on me since first started to get Bokksu. These little rice treats were really good. They were super crunchy and the matcha flavor was light.

Star of Niigata: Amakara Rice Crackers

These were one of my favorite items. The soy sauce and sugar made for a great sweet and savory combination. The light crunch of these made for the perfect snacking experience.

Chestnut Waffle Cookie

Bokksu is also steadily turning me into a fan of anything chestnut-flavored. This cookie was great. the buttery cookie paired well with the chestnut cream filling.

Scone: Choberigu Spice Curry Flaor

These little corn snacks were fantastic and super addictive. The curry was mild with a hint of spice at the end. I devoured these! These made it into my favorites for the month.

Alfort Mini Chocolate: Chestnuts

Another favorite this month. Chocolate and chestnut are a wonderful combination. These were so good that I gobbled up the entire package of chocolates in a few minutes.

Honey Castella Cake

Castella cake is always a win and this honey-flavored one had that light sweetness from the honey. The cake itself was moist.

Kurumi Walnut Mochi

Initially, I wasn’t sure about this. I thought the walnut would ruin the soft mochi experience. However, I was wrong, the walnut was chopped super fine and blended perfectly with the mochi. The flavor was great and I enjoyed this one a lot.

Tirolean Cream Roll Cookie: Vanilla

This was my favorite item of the month! The vanilla flavor was a perfect match for the buttery cookie.

Kyoto Matcha Waffle Sandwich

I thought this snack was pretty good. The sweetness of the white chocolate helped to cut the bitterness of the matcha. While the slightly crispy waffle brought it all together.

Nanko Ume Plum Gummy

Another fantastic item this month. These plum gummies had a slight sweetness to them and were the perfect after-dinner snack.

Uru-Rice Chips: Corn Potage

I’ve had corn potage-flavored items before and I loved them. These rice chips were wonderful. The corn flavor really stood out on these, though a hint of rice flavor came through.

Zeppin Caramel Almond Okaki

My least favorite item of the month. These were merely okay. I think the flavor and texture wasn’t for me.

Black Sesame Roll Cake

This one went straight to my husband, as I’m not a fan of black sesame. He really enjoyed this little cake.

Hojicha Tea Latte

I’m still not a tea person, despite having tried many teas through Bokksu. This one was alright, I neither loved it nor hated it.

This month contained so many great items. I really enjoy getting to experience so many new flavors and snacks every month.

I hope you enjoyed my review of the November 2023 Bokksu. Have you tried Bokksu?
