Another month is here and it’s bound to be busy. Life has a way of getting hectic in the summer, but this year it’s even more so than usual. Because of this, I am keeping my goals to a minimum to allow me to focus on life for a bit. Before I get to my July 2024 goals, I want to take a moment to share how I did with my June goals.
June 2024 Goals
June was a pretty chaotic month. I had a lot to do beyond the goals listed here and I did a pretty decent job of getting most of it done.
Life goals
Read at least 5 books
Yes! While I didn’t have much time for reading, I did manage this one. Check out what I read in June.
Clean the shed
Mostly. I’d say the shed is 90% clean. We had tons of rain throughout the month which made getting this goal done quite difficult.
Watch at least 1 show on Crunchyroll
Yes. I watched 2 seasons of The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent. I also ended up watching The Quintessential Quintuplets movie.
Blogging Goals
Post regularly
Yes. I managed at least 1 post per week.
Work on July’s posts
Yes. I did get a few of July’s posts done over the course of the month.
Reply to comments in a timely manner
I believe I replied to all comments within 72 hours.
July 2024 Goals
This is going to be another busy month. As such, I am limiting my goals to focus on life and all it has in store. Much of what I will be working on during the month isn’t listed here, but I will share more about it in the future.
Life goals
Read at least 5 books
While I have selected a lot of short books for my July TBR, I am aiming to read at least 5 books. Anything I read beyond that is a pure bonus.
Clean the shed
I got most of this done in June, so it’s a matter of getting the last bit done.
Watch at least 1 show on Crunchyroll
Though my plate is quite full this month, I want to include one fun goal. So, I’m attempting to get through 1 show from my Crunchyroll to-watch list.
Plant the garden
I am behind on planting the garden. However, between the chaos of life and a rainy June, I didn’t get around to it. I need to get it done this month or it will be too late for anything to grow.
Blogging Goals
Post regularly
I am aiming for 1-2 posts per week.
Work on July and August’s posts
I have some of July’s posts done and need to work on the rest. Once that is done, I will be focusing on August’s posts.
Reply to comments in a timely manner
The goal is to reply to them within 72 hours of receiving a comment.

Happy to see you’ve achieved your June goals! I love that you have a fun goal for July; it’s so important to make time for the fun stuff too. For July, my goal is to finish the no spend/no buy challenge and see how I do! I’ve never done a finance challenge before.
